1. That quiz you just failed. You'll get over it and the rest of your grades will pull it up.
2. That exhausting trip home. You're home, on your bed, typing and happy with it. That's all that matters.
3. That annoying friend of yours. She is what she is. You are what you are. Thank God you're not her.
4. The writer's block that started a month ago. You're writing now, which means it's over. Be grateful.
5. Those grades you got on your report card. You'll make up for it in this quarter and next semester. At least you didn't get a C.
6. That pimple on your face. Relax, it's just a pimple. It's not like a gremlin is growing on your face or something.
7. The project due on Tuesday. You can do it. Clear your thoughts, gather them, then make your project. It's easy if you're willing to do it.
8. Those irritating conformists who just don't learn. It's their problem, not yours.
9. The situations you just went through. Past is past. You live and you learn.
10. The way your friends don't notice what's wrong. You're more hard to decipher than you think. Just let it out and eventually they'll get it.
11. The worry. Do not worry! God has an amazing plan for you. Every single detail in your life was planned out very delicately by Him. Do not worry.
12. The numbness of people. Like I said before, You're more hard to decipher than you think. Plus, people are more stupid than you think.
13. The screw ups you always do when you think you're trying your best. IT HAPPENS! People are people. You're not God, you know.
14. The way that every 2 seconds, the internet gets disconnected. It'll get reconnected soon. You just have to wait.
15. The fact that you lack patience. Patience should be earned. It's not one of those things that just get layed out in front of you.

Being Brutally Honest
*warning* This blog contains rage and angst. Back out now, if you wish. But I bet Denise will agree with me. -high five-
What is good music? Why the hell would people think that Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Lady GaGa and other crappy artists make good music? I know, I know, it's bad to criticize but do you honestly think that the line "Got my ass squeezed by sexy cupid" should be in a song? Honestly, I think that people only think it's "good music" when it's on MTV. But really, not everything on that channel is good. Yeah, I admit that I once liked Taylor Swift (in sixth grade) but now I really ask myself what the effing hell I was thinking about then. She's all "OH! I'm pretty. Therefore, I can make music!". I mean really, rhyming "baby" and "you belong with me". Seriously, there could be better rhymes than that.
People should be listening to songs by Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Sondre Lerche and Regina Spektor. I understand that there are people who do not like this kind of music but seriously, you guys should consider re-vamping your playlist. The world should be listening to MEANINGFUL music. Not that crap with disco sticks, whatever those are.
The VMA's, the TCA's, the MTV Movie awards and all the other award shows that the public can vote on SUCK. I mean seriously, Twilight for the best Movie awards?! Admit it, the movie sucked (but the book is nice) and I am pretty sure that New Moon will suck more.
Oh come on! Be honest! The public doesn't have a clue what good stuff is! That is why I admire the critics in the Grammy's, Golden Globe's, Emmy's and Oscars. THEY KNOW WHAT GOOD STUFF IS. Ergo, let us follow what they know in order to have an appropriate selection of TV shows, movies and music. If you want to see what I'm talking about, look at this. Click here. That list is infiltrated with horrible music. And it's the same horrible music over and over and over again.
Now I know I sound pretentious and like a know-it-all but come on! I know you know that what you're listening to is not good music.
Speaking of good music, here are some examples.
Do Without by Emily Elbert
She's an amazing guitarist. She has a swell voice. She makes meaningful music, ergo non-mediocre music! Hoorah!
Hell No by Sondre Lerche and Regina Spektor
Live High by Jason Mraz
Sitting, Waiting, Wishing by Jack Johnson
Colors by Amos Lee feat. Norah Jones
Trouble by Coldplay
She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5
Listen to these babies and I'm sure you will appreciate music a lot more.
Sorry I ranted so much on this.

What?! No complimentary candy?!?!
Ello. Just got back from the dentista.
Well, that was (not) fun! He screwed with my teeth. I think he made a few mistakes, which is why we stayed for so long. HE DIDN'T GIVE ME CANDY! :(
During my stay, I made statements (in my mind) that did not make sense at all. Well, it might've made sense but not to me. Not to me. Here's a bit.
1. "You touched the door and now you're touching my mouth? YOU'RE AWESOME!"
2. "Ahh! Ahh! Careful with the tongue! CAREFUL!"
He's so adorable when he makes a mistake at 3:27, eh? I love this boy. :)
Wonderbullocks!
Ida.

4. "STOP POKING MY TEETH FOR GOODNESS' SAKE!"
5. "My teeth are not plain pieces of wood. They have feelings too. You're making them sad right now."
6. "Not only do my teeth have feelings. THEY HAVE FISTS TOO!"
7. "Why is there water on my glasses?"
8. "No! Not that thing again! AHHHH!"
10. "When you mean natural bite, does that mean that I can bite your fingers off? :D"
Did you notice that I skipped number 9?
Yes you did.
In other news! Have you seen Gabe's new bidyo? He's just the cutest thing. :)

Heyo burritos.
I should really be reading Little Women now. Thanks to the fabulous people who spoiled it for me.
Anywhoozembottoms. I haven't blogged for a while. I'm sure the people who read this blog still know that I'm alive. Mainly because I get to see them everyday. Hey, table buddies!

Super-mega-freaking-awesome day
Wow. I feel like a bunch of mushy potatoes smashed into one in a flesh sack that's called "skin". I feel weird.
Anywhoozmbottoms.
Today was just incredible. Why? Because we had the Acquaintance Party! That's why! We spent most of our time bonding by "jamming", laughing like there's not tomorrow, and playing super awesome games (wow. I talk like Marla). Although, there were some low points in this day. 1. HUMILIATION. AAAAHHH! 2. Noisiness. Everybody was shouting and screaming at the top of their lungs just because they can. Is that bad? 3. Wait. There is no number 3.
ANYWAY!
As I said in the previous part, we spent most of our time, actually about 55% of our time jamming. The rest was just eating, laughing and games. OH! OH! OH!!!! AND WE HAVE A CLASS PET!!! AAAAHHHH! It's name is Ba. :) It's an adorable blue fighting fish, and as Sir Mike said, if we want to see it fight, all we have to do is put a mirror in front of it. But that's just cruel and mean, although it is pretty amusing, it's just mean.
I love 1-6. The most adorable people ever. :)
With Dilbert's smile and floating necktie,
Ida.
P.s. Do you know Dilbert?
P.S.S. Will I post the footage on here sometime?
update//I thought I posted this yesterday, but it turns out I forgot to. Wow. I'm that stupid. I'm sorry.

Share the Music
Fame, Fortune, Pride.
Those are a few of the things in the world which we can get so soaked up in, that we forget all else. Fame, we do not need fame, but when we get the chance to share our music with people, we take it! We must seize the opportunity to share the language of the heavens, through music, Through song, Through melodies, Through chance.
Fortune, Greediness is becoming such a trend these days. Everyone is tempted to be like this, but what we should do is we should be cautious. Watch what happens under our noses. Control our desires. Learn to love simplicity. You don't need all that stuff. Think of the children who have nothing. They survive! They live through what they face. Do me a favor. Be more like them.
Pride, something we all think we should earn. Although pride is good for the self, but if we get too much, we become conceited. So self-centered, that we do not consider anyone else being better than us. That is just wrong. Instead of kicking someone who is already down, help the person up! Instead of bringing someone down because you're better than that person, help the person to be more like you. Be mindful of the people you encounter in your life. You all carve out eachother, anyway.
With "inspiration",
Ida

The Ida is on quarantine.
I bet most of you know that already. I have colds and a fever that makes my temperature go whack-o. Please pray for me. To all the peeps that had contact with me, please drink lots of vitamins and strengthen your immune system. I'm a weak piece of meat. Hope you're not! Love you guys!

Musical Detoxification
You know those moments in your life wherein you feel as if the sky is falling on you and you feel like you have nothing else to do but cry? Well, WORRY NO MORE! Now you can take your mind off of things in just 7 easy steps! (results may vary)
Step 1:
GET YOUR MUSIC!
(I chose this one because it's extremely relaxing and just plain awesome)
Step 2:
Get some headphones/earphones and plug them into your player.
(Any loud headphones/earphones will do.)

Step 3:
Put the volume on MAX.
Step 4:
Empty your mind.
Step 5:
Play the song.
Step 6:
Close your eyes.
Step 7:
Listen to the song as if nothing else is happening.
*note: This really works. I made it up, but it really works.
Enjoy,
Ida

Update. WEEE!
Marla came home already. Whooopeeee! So psyched for Pat's birthday. Planning to buy John Mayer's album: Continuum. I didn't tell my parents yet. Shhh. Loved summer. Boring, but fun. Definitely memorable. ( Did you notice how I don't start my sentences right like: "So psyched...." it should be "I am so psyched...." and "Planning to buy..." it should be "I'm planning to buy...." etc. It's becoming a habit. Is that bad? ) The sound of school coming is giving me the chills. The tingly-winglies. The nervy nana. I need a stress ball. (I'm) looking forward to Marla's chocolates. Swiss chocolates are the best. Mmmm. Marla: DON'T DISAPPOINT! Kidding.
Hope ya'll had a good day, a good week, and hopefully a good summer.
God bless.
With sprinkles of lovin',
Ida.

Glowing Monkeys and The End of the World
This may sound ridiculous, but it is actually real.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/8070252.stm
The End of the WORLD.
And do you think the last one was real? I THINK NOT!
Anyway, I have a theory. The glowing monkeys, what if they're going to be the greatest ninjas ever? What would happen is, they will evolve into glowing cyborgs that are one third robot, one third monkey and one third alien. And eventually, they will make us bow down to their superiority and they will cause the extinction of ALL HUMANITY!!! But then, Chuck Norris will rise from the grave, and round-house kick all of the glowing monkeys to their DEATH!
It's random statements time! YAAAY!
Hehe, Unitard. It sounds like retarded unicorn.
Monkey see, monkey do, monkey fling his poo at you.

30 Things that Matter.
1. The life that we live, because it was all written for us already.
2. The songs that exist, for the "songwriters" did not really write the songs. The song wrote itself.
3. The smiles on each other's faces, because smiles are extremely contagious.
4. The silence, because we need time to think about what matters.
5. The opportunity of speech, because emotion is hard to express only through smileys.
6. The gift of humor, because we need sprinkles of joy everyday.
7. The knowledge we possess, because without it, we wouldn't be here.
8. The music that we have, because we are instruments of love and light. Music is an easy way to express that we are what we are.
9. The gift of nature, because God wants us to see His magnificence.
10. The opportunity to be curious, because exploring is good for the soul.
11. The opportunity to go green, because we can share our love to the greens.
12. The gift of stress, because we need to know that we have to loosen up.
13. The art, because paintings and pictures say a library-full of words.
14. Our humanity, because being imperfect is only an opportunity to be better.
15. The gift of family, because we need to remember where we come from.
16. The gift of friends, because we need people to lean on.
17. The air, because we need to breath.
18. The talents, because we need to express emotions in other ways besides speech.
19. The gift of loving, because we need to remind each other how important they are.
20. The gift of being loved, because we need proof that we're special.
21. Being unique, because life is boring if we're all the same.
22. The gift of how you look, because everybody's beautiful. It's just that some people don't understand.
23. Being able to wake up everyday, because maybe you didn't live life to the fullest yesterday.
24. The gift of the rising sun, because beauty doesn't speak for itself.
25. The chance to act, because action is much better that words.
26. Inner beauty, because we need to know that we are what we are.
27. Education, because we have much much more to learn.
28. Vacations, because we need to take our mind off of things.
29. The choice of not worrying, because we need to know that we can decide on our own.
30. The gift of knowing what matters, because we need to have something we're thankful for.
With a smile,

The Barber Shop and More.
Today, I went to the mall. (OH YEAH! THE MALL!)
I cut my hair. Now I have bangs/vangs (whichever you prefer to call it). OH! And I bought Jason Mraz's album too!

I'm showing off. B-)
I'm so sorry that this is a boring one. I had the words a while ago, I just forgot them in my other pants.
With Love,

An astounding film by Miranda July. I found out about it because of Jason Mraz and Toca Rivera.
Here are some of my favorite scenes.
I absolutely love this movie. I give it five stars.

Youth Camp `o9
Oober doober late post. : Anyway. The LCFM Youth camp was from May 11-13. It was in Jabez Camp, Cavite. The place was awesome. It was big. The cabins were clean and organized, and you can feel the morning breeze. :) Kuya Ian got tons and tons of pictures. I stole like 20? Only. Out of the about 250 pictures he took. Hahaha. There were challenges, like the trust walk/x-walk, the extreme race and the drama. My favorite was the x-walk. :) I love that. We were blind folded, and then we only had to follow the voice of our leader. It was pretty hard, but it was fun. We also had the concert. We had prase and worship for an hour and a half. Even though it was supposed to be 2 hours. I guess everyone got tired. Here are some of the pictures.
This is an awesome picture.

Our Youth Advisor. :) Isn't he fun? Hahaha.

El Presidente. Kuya Raymond. He's absolutely crazy. As in ma-loko.

Kuya Mike eating the ampalaya in the extreme race. We had to eat RAW ampalaya. RAW.
We also had to put a raw intestine of a pig (I think) through our sleeves. Although it was wrapped in plastic, when it was my turn, the plastic got off.
The Dragon thingamajinggo. This was my Kuya's challenge. (He's the one standing up. :)) )
Guitarists. Namely (L-R) Kuya Rex, Kuya Neil and Kuya Mike.
Some people at the pool right after the extreme race.
The one on the floor is my cousin, Albert. (This was the drama I mentioned)
They were hula-hooping outside our cabin. It's Kuya Dan's turn. Hahaha.
Eating.
Kuya Ian at the drums. You know, he's really really good.
Kuya James at the violin. He's really really good too. Haha. :)
There were five more, but I'm too lazy to post na. It was a great experience. Anyway.

Switcherooney.
Hello.
I have a Tumblr now. I just made one, but I'm not sure about deleting this one. Should I? I mean, it's the same. I might even switch to LiveJournal. (If Denise does. Haha) So. Should I? Answer my question in the comments. Thanks. God bless.

Clean Shave.
We went to Market! Market! yesterday. It was so fun! We played laser tag. We had to fight indians and other people. Our enemies kept on cursing. UGH. But it was fun though. After that, me and the other Crames so Star Trek too. It was WOW. As in WOW. It has a great plotline, great actors and good writers. Definitely a must-watch. :)
Zach is so cute when he dances. :) Haha.
In other news, I got a million tweet on my page. I had to click "more" for about ten times. Haha.
That's it.
Chris Pine as James Kirk is simply stunning.

Girls don't fart?
I was reading Mr. Mraz's blog, and I came across a comment that mentioned that girls don't fart. Absolutely untrue! GIRLS DO FART! I know. I've been there. Whooops. Too much info. Anyway, don't you think that every normal human being farts? It's completely humane to excrete gas through the lower part's hole. Every fart is like love. It will always be there and you can't stop it from going out. It's completely humane to excrete gas through the lower part's hole. So don't be shy. SHARE THE LOVE!

Always smile,
Ida.

The Mraz Machine.
Let me start with DEMAND JASON MRAZ TO MANILA, PHILIPPINES. Please? :D Pick the first one. :-j http://tinyurl.com/dh99aj
I love you if you do this. :)
Clockwatching - Jason Mraz
This is the quality I look for in artists. If they perform live and STILL sound good, then, they're one of the greatest. Unlike Miley Cyrus, if she performs live, her voice is shakey and very different from her album voice. Tsk tsk tsk.
I want to marry Jason Mraz's music.
Or better yet, Jason Mraz himself. Hahaha. Kidding.

Tweet Me.
Dear Swine Flu,
You must think you're the biggest thing in this world now. Maybe you think you can rule the world. Surely, you affect everyone, but excuse me, you are NOT the pandemic here. I'm sorry, but the pandemic is twitter. No matter how much you loathe and want to kill twitter, it is impossible. Remember, jealousy is bad. Do yoga. I bet that'll help.
Love,
Ida

Bucket List.
My very own Bucket list. I'm proud that I made this.
1. Must go's.
1. Must go's.
- California. I just want to smell the sweet Californian air. Mmm.
- Australia. I heart the accents of the Aussies. And oh! KANGAROOS!
2. Must meets.
- Jesse Spencer. If he's still living by the time I go to LA.
- Hugh Laurie. I'd go miles to meet this guy. I'd record his voice to. (creepy right?)
- The Lead Singer in Lenka. I love her voice. It's so cute.
- Sara Bareilles. I'd like to ask her where she buys her clothes.
3. Must haves.
- A customized mic. Wala lang. I just want one.
- A polaroid. To have things to put in the album.
- An SLR. My life would be 30% complete if I had this.
- My dream house. A house that satisfies me.
- A laptop. Enough said.
4. Must do's.
- Fly. Yes, Man can fly. http://bit.ly/111dPP
- Drive a go cart on the road. I DON'T CARE IF IT'S AGAINST THE LAW! (Not a must)
- Go to a radio station.
- Punch Manny Pacquiao in the face and say "HOW DO YOU LIKE ME NOW?!" (That's not really a must.)
- Watch I Am Sam and not cry.
- Have straight A's.
That's what I want to do so far.

Thank you Norah Jones.
A minute ago, I was freaking out like the world is coming to an end. My heart was pounding so hard like it was going to jump out of my chest. Luckily, Denise posted a blog that interested me. Norah Jones' music, the kind that'll make you want to lie down and breathe. So, THANK YOU NORAH JONES.

Summer Breeze
I'm lovin' it.
We were in Batangas for the last three days. I absolutely love it. The beach, the pool, the sun, the breeze. They all soothe me. I was so desperate to take pictures because my camera wasn't there yet, so I took pictures with my phone instead. Sorry for the quality.
The awesomely gigantic Bonsai tree.

Bonsai.

People chillin' under the Bonsai

The pool.

With a view of the unswim-able beach.

The house. (It'd be better to tilt your head to the left a little. Hahaha)
But of course, I couldn't get by without the soothing sounds of the absolutely adorable and amazing, Gabe Bondoc. He's filipino just so you know.
I both loathe and love this dude for his guitar capabilities. I wish I could play like that.

Lotsa lovin'. God bless.
