1. That quiz you just failed. You'll get over it and the rest of your grades will pull it up.
2. That exhausting trip home. You're home, on your bed, typing and happy with it. That's all that matters.
3. That annoying friend of yours. She is what she is. You are what you are. Thank God you're not her.
4. The writer's block that started a month ago. You're writing now, which means it's over. Be grateful.
5. Those grades you got on your report card. You'll make up for it in this quarter and next semester. At least you didn't get a C.
6. That pimple on your face. Relax, it's just a pimple. It's not like a gremlin is growing on your face or something.
7. The project due on Tuesday. You can do it. Clear your thoughts, gather them, then make your project. It's easy if you're willing to do it.
8. Those irritating conformists who just don't learn. It's their problem, not yours.
9. The situations you just went through. Past is past. You live and you learn.
10. The way your friends don't notice what's wrong. You're more hard to decipher than you think. Just let it out and eventually they'll get it.
11. The worry. Do not worry! God has an amazing plan for you. Every single detail in your life was planned out very delicately by Him. Do not worry.
12. The numbness of people. Like I said before, You're more hard to decipher than you think. Plus, people are more stupid than you think.
13. The screw ups you always do when you think you're trying your best. IT HAPPENS! People are people. You're not God, you know.
14. The way that every 2 seconds, the internet gets disconnected. It'll get reconnected soon. You just have to wait.
15. The fact that you lack patience. Patience should be earned. It's not one of those things that just get layed out in front of you.

Being Brutally Honest
*warning* This blog contains rage and angst. Back out now, if you wish. But I bet Denise will agree with me. -high five-
What is good music? Why the hell would people think that Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Lady GaGa and other crappy artists make good music? I know, I know, it's bad to criticize but do you honestly think that the line "Got my ass squeezed by sexy cupid" should be in a song? Honestly, I think that people only think it's "good music" when it's on MTV. But really, not everything on that channel is good. Yeah, I admit that I once liked Taylor Swift (in sixth grade) but now I really ask myself what the effing hell I was thinking about then. She's all "OH! I'm pretty. Therefore, I can make music!". I mean really, rhyming "baby" and "you belong with me". Seriously, there could be better rhymes than that.
People should be listening to songs by Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Sondre Lerche and Regina Spektor. I understand that there are people who do not like this kind of music but seriously, you guys should consider re-vamping your playlist. The world should be listening to MEANINGFUL music. Not that crap with disco sticks, whatever those are.
The VMA's, the TCA's, the MTV Movie awards and all the other award shows that the public can vote on SUCK. I mean seriously, Twilight for the best Movie awards?! Admit it, the movie sucked (but the book is nice) and I am pretty sure that New Moon will suck more.
Oh come on! Be honest! The public doesn't have a clue what good stuff is! That is why I admire the critics in the Grammy's, Golden Globe's, Emmy's and Oscars. THEY KNOW WHAT GOOD STUFF IS. Ergo, let us follow what they know in order to have an appropriate selection of TV shows, movies and music. If you want to see what I'm talking about, look at this. Click here. That list is infiltrated with horrible music. And it's the same horrible music over and over and over again.
Now I know I sound pretentious and like a know-it-all but come on! I know you know that what you're listening to is not good music.
Speaking of good music, here are some examples.
Do Without by Emily Elbert
She's an amazing guitarist. She has a swell voice. She makes meaningful music, ergo non-mediocre music! Hoorah!
Hell No by Sondre Lerche and Regina Spektor
Live High by Jason Mraz
Sitting, Waiting, Wishing by Jack Johnson
Colors by Amos Lee feat. Norah Jones
Trouble by Coldplay
She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5
Listen to these babies and I'm sure you will appreciate music a lot more.
Sorry I ranted so much on this.
